Re: Truck Gone Wild

I see the driver got out, looked around, undoubtedly wondering if he could be traditionally Chinese and slip away, unnoticed..

Re: Truck Gone Wild

pole victim really had an opportunity to have avoided all that the moment he saw the collision. think he was under the impression that the truck would have stopped much sooner so he continued riding across intersection. an amazing chain of events.

Re: Truck Gone Wild

Aside from the karate-chopper, I also feel for the rider and passenger in the third scooter back that stops in the middle of the cross lane as the rider sees the side accident. He is too busy rubber-necking at that sideshow to spot the oncoming bulldozer bowling ball.

Re: Truck Gone Wild

Looks like a movie, that poor bastard trying to pedal as fast away as he could on the bike got absolutely axed by the post. One minute he's there, the next he's a pile of shit and bones and for the overkill he gets run over and then lit on fire lol.. poor bastard.
He couldn't have predicted a safe escape & the last thing he would have expected was the light pole chopping him like a Guillotine. In hindsight from our viewpoint he would have survived if he immediately had ridden left rather than the right ahead route he attempted when he saw the truck, but how could you know that? Sometimes fate just decides & it's an instant goodbye!

Re: Truck Gone Wild

Actually I know from past experience that if I were the cyclist that got axed, coming from the direction he was, I would have just stopped when I saw that truck plowing through on the Mitzubishi rather than attempt to cross in front of the truck. He must have been thinking the post would stop it. He would have survived if he just stopped as soon as he saw it happening as all the destruction would then have been occurring in front, rather than on his tail!
