Truck Driver Killed After Load of Wooden Logs Fall Onto and Crush Cabin
The driver of a truck loaded with wood logs died, this Monday afternoon (24), after the vehicle left the track on the BR-470 in Navegantes, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina, when the logs fell onto and crushed the truck cabin. When the Fire Department arrived at the scene, at km 2 of the highway, the victim had already died. His identity was not released. There is no definitive information about possible causes of the accident. |

The load appeared to be secured properly. That deep pit he fell into caused the load to shift.. if he could have hit a flatter spot it may have been different  |
