Re: Truck Driver Electrocuted and Killed
I totally understand but is he actually alive or more of an actual zombie!?! I do see him shuffle a bit and I know for sure his brain doesn’t work, so, is he alive or just the walking dead!? |

Re: Truck Driver Electrocuted and Killed
Thanks for the info, and I admit that is to some extent correct, but only because when words are misused in common parlance their assumed meaning becomes accepted and eventually these make their way into the dictionaries. Just like 'execution' doesn't actually mean the killing of someone. It is the death sentence that is executed, but due to popular use its meaning has been modified. 'Electrocuted' was a word invented by a journalist in the US in the late 19th century to refer specifically to execution by the electric chair. So I stand by what I said but concede that you may have a valid claim based on common usage of the word today. Just like video actually means 'I watch' in Latin but has altered its meaning with time, one could argue both sides of its definition. So not 'FALSE'. It's more complicated and less binary than that. |

Re: Truck Driver Electrocuted and Killed
Yeah, I realized that as I was looking into it. I was hoping to just copy and paste the definition of the word, but quickly realized there was more nuance to your claim than anticipated lol.
