~ Whether it's a standing or sitting duck, an easy enough target is a target. ~ Lesson Earned: Never stand around waiting for trouble to find you ready to be done away with. |

Not a great move on the victim's part. Not sure what could be gained by going up against those with nothing to lose.

Should of just given them what they wanted but instead chose to go unarmed up against a guy armed with a gun which is always a losing proposition. Pride killed this guy.

Re: Trinidad and Tobago - Man Killed By Robbers
Lazy speculation on your part. The victim had less than a second to react to a gun in his face. It was fight or flight time immediately and he chose to fight. You can’t fault his natural instinct on this one, especially if you’ve never been in that situation. The victim did try to flee a few seconds later, unfortunately he was unsuccessful. He fought hard to live and should be respected for it. |

Re: Trinidad and Tobago - Man Killed By Robbers
J. T tried to fight for what was his. The two criminals who came for his gold chain took his life. He was shot over and over again, and he writhed on the ground outside a pub in Sangre Grande last night. His killing was the latest in a savage string of murders convulsing Trinidad. This was homicide number 212 for this year. The same time last year there were 135 murders. |
