Tree Being Cut Falls Onto Road and Fatally Strikes Motorcyclist
Thanh Hóa, Vietnam On the afternoon of September 9, police confirmed that a tree-cutting incident in the area caused the tree to fall onto the road and crush a road user to death. Mr. Nguyễn Q.T., 43, was hired to cut down an African mahogany tree in front of the home of Mr. N.Q.H., but just as the tree was falling, a 67-year-old motorcyclist, Mr. Lê D.T., was passing by. The tree struck Lê, causing him to collapse onto the road and sustain severe injuries. He was rushed to hospital, but he succumbed to his wounds. |
