A man of approximately 25 years died after being run over by a train on the afternoon of Tuesday (31) in the Vila Real neighborhood, in Hortolândia, São Paulo state.

According to witnesses, the man stopped with other people to wait for the passage of the train, but at one point he tried to jump to the other side of the tracks, when he ended up slipping and was crushed by the vehicle.

The victim had no ID on him and so far has not been identified.
