Train Hits Woman Standing on the Train Tracks
East-Java, Indonesia. A woman in blue, without identification, was hit by a cargo train early Sunday morning. Redidents tried to warn the victim, who was seen walking right in the middle of the tracks. The victim, estimated to be 40 years old, lost her life at the spot.

Re: Train Hits Woman Standing on the Train Tracks
There was ample time to run and get her the fuck off the tracks. That is, if everyone had not begun filming at that moment instead I'm not often an "interventionist", but here come on... |

Re: Train Hits Woman Standing on the Train Tracks
I'm pretty sure that engineer didn't even try to slow down, either before or after he hit her. There's a huge difference in a long train & one with just two cars in stopping/slowing distance. He wasn't going that fast, there was no sound of braking, & it seemed like he was busier with blowing the horn than with stopping. My point of reference: my late dad was a longtime engineer. I grew up on trains & he even let me drive them (back when you could get away with that kinda shit). |
