Yep they do. Luckily I never hit anyone when I was an engineer. One Amtrak engineer on a run from St. Louis, Mo to Chicago had 3 separate accidents like this one to include 5 fatalities. I'll be he got some paid time off. As for the memories, they weren't good. No decent engineer ever wants that to happen on his watch. Not anymore than a solder wants to finds his buddy, or whats left of him after a direct hit by a mine...

BS, he was certainly boppin' his baloney in the cab after he hit each car. Just like in this vid, the engineer is climaxing in the cab while the big black conductor is running around the wreck yelling "gets her outta der so we can poke her fore she gets cold!"
