i live in michigan, and the tracks like these, dont have guard barriers that come down. and if you have a car full of teenagers, the musics gonna be loud and they arent going to be paying attention. my house is right near the train tracks, and in 2008, two teenage boys were hit by a train. they survived the wreck. but like all the backroad crossings, you just have lights, and no barriers, and sometimes no lights at all. so as a warning, please look at rail crossings, cause you never know what might happen.

In this case a guard barrier did come down, but the car plowed through it. Watch the slow motion carefully. Makes me wonder what was happening in the car that they would drive through a barrier.

Yeah I'm originally from Metro Detroit as well- Such a stupid, avoidable disaster. Hopefully they show this in driver's ed classes.
