Traffic Dispute Results in Man Being Stabbed to Death on the Road
Varginha, Minas Gerais, Brazil A 50-year-old motorcyclist died after being stabbed during a road rage dispute on Tuesday afternoon (6). The suspect fled the scene but was arrested hours later. CCTV cameras caught the suspect, 55-year-old José R.B., driving his pick-up truck the wrong way down a street. The victim, Marcelo L.d.S., riding his motorcycle, turns the corner and nearly collides with the vehicle but manages to swerve away. At that moment, José gets out of the pick-up, starts an argument with Marcelo, and pushes him. Marcelo tried to defend himself by striking José with his helmet. José then pulled a pocketknife from his pocket and stabbed Marcelo twice, according to the Military Police. Marcelo falls to the ground, bleeding, while José left the scene in his pick-up. Military Police officers provided first aid until the Mobile Emergency Medical Service (SAMU) arrived and found Marcelo in cardiac arrest. Resuscitation efforts were carried out while he was being transported to Bom Pastor Hospital, but Marcelo did not survive his injuries and died before being admitted. According to the family, Santos was a locksmith and was on his way to a service call. José was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday. The Civil Police reported that they confirmed the arrest in flagrante for aggravated homicide motivated by a trivial reason. On Wednesday morning, he was taken to the Varginha prison. |

Re: Traffic Dispute Results in Man Being Stabbed to Death on the Road
He must have cut some major vein or artery, judging by how the victim's shirt is soaked in blood that quick after the stabs. But the knife blade doesn't seem that big, and I don't think he hit the heart region Anyway, thanks ! |
