ummmm..............well.......They carry out incidental duties related to their primary function of monitoring and representing users of the various lines of communication via which residents of a local area proceed to and fro on their daily habits of business. Surely you have heard of travel agents? Traffic agents perambulations are coincident to such travel activities done by citizens using the motorways in their respective administrative areas that are under the review of the individuals appointed to the tasks related to these activities.
