I can't remember how many deaths during the Vietnam War were attributed to bleedouts, but it was substantial. 2 tourniquets would have saved this dudes life. Very unfortunate. Today's military training has a strong focus on battlefield lifesaving. |

He never had the plastic guard over the PTO shaft and he got to close to it, no health and safety there, he is not the first or the last.
