Superstitious like hell they are and they don't see that this can create life threatening diseases.
They even shit in it.
They are no more 'superstitious' than any other religious deludes, and that includes all you good ol' American bible believers .

Could be. lol. But I think most non-religious realize that religion is an extremely deeply interwoven and complex problem initially caused by ignorance of science thousands of years ago, that is only going to be defeated by education and time. No guns.

Re: Tourist Finds Dog Eating A Headless Corpse

The Indian people believe the Ganges is a sacred river and they use it for all sorts of things, cleaning, washing, bathing...and laying their dead to rest.

In Varanasi, the burning Ghats are funeral pyres along the edges of the Ganges. If your family have enough money they will be able to buy wood to cremate you there. Often people are too poor and will only be able to half cremate the body. The rest is sent into the river.

It's common to see parts of bodies and full bodies floating in the water, and also like this, washed up on the bank.
Well dude you just forgot to mention about the homeless poor people as well, some people are so poor that they leave nothing except for their dead body.A Hindu style cremation may take about 2500 Rupees (50 $ approx) who will pay for that ??I only wish the people who are just blabbering could see the amount of poverty and hardship some people in the so called "developing countries" have to go through. But end of the day its really hard to see things like this happens in real , may that poor kids soul rest in peace.
