The reality is... These guys are drunk and under the influence of drugs while they are doing this stuff.... Once that frontal lobe in the brain gets affected by substance, the ability to feel empathy or sympathy goes out the window...

Secondly, these individuals view the vicitim as a slaughtered animal. Many of these torturer's had to skin and prep most of thier meat throughout life, so its easy to reference this person as an animal..
