The whole west coast of South America has a lot of anti-Venezuelan sentiment. Venezuelans either have to cross Brazil where they don't speak the language and get to Uruguay or Argentina, or they head west into Colombia and down through Ecuador, Peru and Chile. The latter three restrict access with visa restrictions.

Venezuelans are the refugees who swarmed into other countries after their populist governments destroyed their economy. But no S.A. country can take thousands of refugees, they all have problems of their own. Every citizen has a right and indeed obligation to defend his country's borders .
