Should he have said ‘United States of American’ instead? ‘American’ is 100% correct, and anybody that says otherwise is retarded. Like, straight up retarded. In the context of countries, ‘American’ can only refer to the US. If people were asked to list out their countries, and after hearing “I’m English, I’m Spanish, I’m Chinese, etc” somebody from Canada said “I’m North American”, they’d correctly be viewed as a retard that doesn’t understand context. Also, every time you would be referring to a continent, you’d preface it with either North or South. I’m so sick of this retarded rhetoric being spread from one retard on the Internet to the other. I mean, for fuck’s sake, I’m Canadian, and I can’t stand this shit. Sorry, I mean, I’m an American, and can’t stand it.  |
