Re: Time Lapse Of Man Decomposing

Isn't this from a body farm?!? The more I look at this the more I see cremation is the way to go.
Heck, no, I think this would be the way to go, when you have to. give all the carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen back as fertilizer, and look really gross as well!

Re: Time Lapse Of Man Decomposing

That's some nasty shit right there! Blew up like a beehive and then turned into a nice skeleton. Awesome post!
Yup! When a body decomposes, gasses build up inside and then the body deflates like a balloon when the pressure becomes too great. If I'm not mistaken, this video is from a documentary on the infamous body farm. Great to watch if you're interested in forensics or just have a morbid curiosity about death.

Re: Time Lapse Of Man Decomposing

This reminds me of the movie "The Time Machine" (1960) where the guy kills one of the weird creatures, and then gets to the time machine and watches the creature decompose in fast motion as he goes through time.

That's very considerate. Personally, I like the idea of sky burial but I think you have to be Tibetan to qualify. Which I am not.

Re: Time Lapse Of Man Decomposing

I agree, this has solidified my thoughts that cremation is the way to go. Nice post by the way
