This has just been released. He sprinted for 50m through New Delhi engulfed in flames and sustained burns on 98 per cent of his body. Aftermath footage included. |

Wow. Must take some dedication to do something like that to yourself. I do feel for Tibet but I don't think I'll be setting myself alight in the streets of lerwick anytime soon. |

The scary part is in imagining exactly how bad your life must be, or the lives of those around you, for you to feel that this is the only way anyone will pay attention, or be able to get the word out. When monks are being brutally executed, there is something horribly, terrifyingly wrong. I can only imagine the dedication it must take to do this, I am scared of fire. |
