Brazil, According to the Military Police, a team went to attend a disturbance of peace when they saw two men "in suspicious attitudes". Upon approaching, they were received with gunfire. A cop was hit in the shoulder and another shot hit their squad car.

One of the criminals was shot in the exchange of fire and the other tried to flee the scene being wounded by a bullet in his leg. Another police team arrived for support and nearby found the second criminal, who shot and wounded a police officer in the arm but was shot by the same cop.

The criminals were taken to a nearby health clinic and died. The two officers were also rescued, one underwent surgery and remains under observation.
