Looks like there's a cut on his wrist too, maybe self inflicted? The cuts don't look too deep, the one on his neck looks bad, but that's just the air escaping through the cut to the trachea, it doesn't look like it has involved major blood vessels. Survivable with prompt treatment, but very unpleasant to essentially be inhaling blood with every breath.
