Three People Dead in Car Crash, Dominican Republic
La Romana.- At least three people lost their lives and two were injured in an accident between two vehicles on the Higüeral – Guaymate highway, La Romana province. One of the injured women has been Ihandra Javier, transferred to the Central Romana Medical Center, and another in the “Arístides Fiallo Cabral” public hospital. The information was confirmed by the mayor of La Romana, Tony Adames, who assured that the injured were transferred to a private medical center in that province. The tragedy occurred in the so-called "curva del 11", between bateyes 82 and Guerrero. So far, the deceased have not been identified. The 911 Emergency System, the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation (DIGESETT), among others, were present at the scene.      |
