Re: Three Killed when Dump Truck Tyre Pops Before Crushing Car on Bridge
I am a retired police officer with 32 years of service for an agency in Orange County CA. I was a Sergeant for 22 years. An early assignment at the beginning of my career was being a Traffic Collision Investigator for 2 years(1986-1988). I had some seriously serious graphic crashes of various sorts. Many things you see that you can never unsee. I have a Polaroid photo album showing some of these crashes. I can only imagine the shapes the victims bodies were in. Maybe one day I will post some photos and transfer my VHS to an mp file for sharing on this site.

Of all the things in the world to happen just at that particular moment, a second before or after could have quite possibly changed the outcome of this tragic event. Tyer 3 Humans 0 |

Re: Three Killed when Dump Truck Tyre Pops Before Crushing Car on Bridge
Yes, they did. I have to dig for them, but I have a few of the old CHP Magazine issues from the 80s. They don’t show those awesome pics any longer. They just show blurred images. I guess too many people’s sensibilities were violated, and they are now considered inappropriate for the way they publish the magazine today. Personally, I think people need to see the raw stuff so they get the true message. I remember I was in a Smith’s store in the 90’s in their magazine section, and they had three different types of Mexican published magazines that showed some pretty graphic stuff. Right next to Cosmo. I see that you were or are a US Marine. Semper Fi my friend and, as I am sure you have heard many times, thank you for your service and putting your life on the line for us. |
