Bad situation but and it all happened to quick but I’m wondering if a modern truck with a trailer brake controller would’ve helped? Not only would it tow easier and likely not effect the truck as much because it’s heavier but it would also brake the trailer automatically if you have a modern truck with a trailer brake controller. Either way it happened very quickly and it wasn’t their fault either. I personally drive a lot and always am very observant. My truck gets 17 MPG which isn’t terrible for such a big vehicle but also not the best either.. either way when I see videos like this it always makes me realize why I paid and continue to pay more to drive with a big vehicle. Bronco is next for me

It's important to remember not to brake when trailer starts to sway. You should speed up little bit to regain control
