Three Fatally Electrocuted While Pushing Chariot
In Sheikhpura, in India's Bihar state, three people died and ten were injured when their chariot came into contact with a high-voltage power line during a religious procession. According to preliminary reports, the chariot was originally pulled by a horse, but it faced difficulties negotiating some turns. The villagers therefore decided to pull the chariot themselves. The iron part of the chariot came into contact with the power line, causing the tragedy. |

Re: Three Fatally Electrocuted While Pushing Chariot
Perhaps they wanted to recreate that movie "Chariots of Fire"(1981).

I'm so glad that the horse didn't end up being amongst the fatalities.

Religion kills. I cannot comprehend how none of them had any situational awareness of their surroundings.

Best view of the power line hung up in the chariot. Nobody on camera notices. · |
