Three Fatally Electrocuted While Pushing Chariot
In Sheikhpura, in India's Bihar state, three people died and ten were injured when their chariot came into contact with a high-voltage power line during a religious procession. According to preliminary reports, the chariot was originally pulled by a horse, but it faced difficulties negotiating some turns. The villagers therefore decided to pull the chariot themselves. The iron part of the chariot came into contact with the power line, causing the tragedy. |
