You are incorrect. This occurred on a double lane highway. The Semi-Truck was in the outside lane and turned crossing the inside lane which the mini-van was traveling in. The Truck crossed the path of the mini-van. There is no traffic law that states you have to drive a certain speed in regards to traffic in another lane. Mini-van speed is inconsequential. He is being charged with 3 counts of vehicular man slaughter by the way. Easy math. You need to go back to the Police Academy and retake the Vehicle Collison block. |

Yup, thats american road safety for ya. Claimed another life. In Europe, all trucks must have guards against impacts like this. It would have definitely saved everyones' lives, since the car wasnt going that fast.
