Thieves Steal, Then Shoot Police Officer
The shooting happens towards the end if you don't want to watch the thievery. Killing him was unnecessary  he didn't even seem aware of what was going on.

The way the Officer peers around that woman it seems he may have been responding to the robbery, but didn't realize where it was occurring. They may have shot him so they didn't have to worry about being followed or getting shot in the back.

He may not of been aware of the robbery in progress, but all it takes is one person to yell 'Help! Police!' and those thieving fucks would have the law on their tail. Hopefully they were apprehended, and the murderer spend the rest of his days behind bars. |

He was very aware, at about 1:13 you can see the guy in the light gray hoody break away to the left and shoot the officer from behind. If you replay a couple of times and spot the cop it's obvious his gun is drawn and he's respondiing to a call, they just spotted him first.  |
