Initially, the sergeant didn't want to kill all the innocent people bro.Someone told him that the 'real mastermind' had been his commander's wife and the cunning bitch had gone to the mall (dubbed 'Terminal 21') thereby the berserk sergeant when to the mall , but alas he failed desperately to find the bitch as he was informed thus, we saw the news.The sergeant had searched the mall thoroughly for that bitch, not for the remaining survivors to grisly terminate.Nonetheless, he had regrettably channeled his resentment (also triggered by desperation I guess) to those 30 departed.

I see. So how do you explain the fact that he killed a dozen people on his way to the mall? He killed people on bikes and in cars and he even stopped at a temple where he shot a few worshipers.
