Re: Thailand Mall Attack
Looks like this idiot had a HK G3 maybe? If so those 7.62 NATO rounds are a beast and those people had very little chance against a battle rifle like that. RIP.

Re: Thailand Mall Attack
I live here in Korat. They are saying that an 'Army defector' got these firearms! A Ruger 10-22 and an old (can't make the model or make) pump 12 gauge. He was in the Thai 'Army' for 2 months. These are not military weapons, and 20+ people did not die. My assumption is that he went into Cambodia, bought what he could with his little money, and got revenge. If 1 person was allowed to carry a gun, this criminal could have been stopped. When firearms are made illegal, The People have their rights taken away and they are at the mercy of their government. This guy had a 12 gauge with 3 rounds and a Ruger 10-22; Put this Thai fucking cunt where I grew up. |

Or, if the world didn't produce environments that create this kind of twisted thinking then that would work too. Prevention can be better than cure.

Re: Thailand Mall Attack
HK33 100 percent sure, it's a military service rifle for Thai military 5.56x45. He also stole M60 but didn't use it (smart choice not to use it) Yes, I'm Thai. |

Re: Thailand Mall Attack
The pics of the rifle on the ground looks like an HK33 to me, the HK33 is (or was) a standard Thailand armed forces weapon IIRC. Basically a 5.56mm version of the old 7.62x51 Heckler Koch G3. Remember, some parts of the G3 may look like the HK33 but are not interchangeable! So don't mix parts between these weapons, unless you are like this guy and plan on going on pointless murdering rampage.
