Re: Thai Girl Smothered in Bed...
Ugh right. The fact that they lowered her shirt then lift it up again to take photos is disturbing and disrespectful.

Re: Thai Girl Smothered in Bed...
She was lying face-down when she died. They needed to lift the shirt (and pinch her skin in various places, as you may have noticed) in order to photo-document the extent of livor mortis and blanching. This is a primary component in fixing an approximate time of death. Nothing disturbing or disrespectful about it. They'll take many more photos a few hours later at the autopsy, including ones of her completely nude, fully eviscerated, and with all of her organs sitting out on trays like offal in the butcher's shop. Is this also disturbing and disrespectful? Just part of how humans continue to explore and understand our own mortality and the circumstances surrounding it. |

Re: Thai Girl Smothered in Bed...
Whoa. I simply was implying that laughing was disrespectful, or, at least tried to imply. I probably should've included that in my comment, but I quoted kelly hound. Anyway, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I understand there are protocol factors that need to take place while inspecting a body, but laughing as they did was unacceptable. That's all. |

And no, I don't find them doing a full autopsy on her dead, and fully naked disturbing. It should be a necessary procedure done to any deceased human. I completely agree your comment, but heard laughter upon lifting up her shirt and felt it was a bit disrespectful.
