Re: Thai Girl Shot Dead
That was a professional hit job...and was done for a very specific reason. Check out that pistol...full sized Colt Gold Cup in hard chrome...approximate US value around $1500+. Notice also, how the assassin immediately dropped the murder weapon at the scene? That's a sign of a true professional...and the expense and rarity of that particular firearm in that part of the world is a very significant clue. Someone paid a great deal of money to have that girl murdered...and I'm fairly sure it'll never be solved.

Re: Thai Girl Shot Dead
Is there a reason it had to be such a valuable firearm? Seems like a cheap glock would have done the job just fine in the hands of this pro, and that's an obvious place to cut costs in his professional killing business to maximize his bottom line.

Re: Thai Girl Shot Dead
Not real sure on this one. It might be a "calling card" type of thing or perhaps a preference for that type of weapon or caliber. It might be that the assassin used that particular firearm to show his professionalism or ability to procure expensive weaponry or to show off how expensive he is to hire. Like if the guy's willing to drop a two thousand dollar plus pistol like it's a styrofoam cup...what in God's name must he be charging for an actual hit? Given that he only targeted one person, used one shot, incurred no collateral damage, dropped the murder weapon, used such an expensive and rare pistol, and walked away without a trace, indicates a very skilled, disciplined, experienced, trained, and determined assassin. This more likely than not was a quite expensive murder...my uneducated guess is that it had something to do with the international drugs, weapons, slavery, or espionage business. I could be wrong, but the rule is to always follow the big money.
