Re: Texas Trooper Randy Vetter Killed After Traffic Stop
I see many people asking the obvious question: "Why didn't one of those cops shoot this guy?" I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and guess that it had something to do with the heavy traffic directly behind the cowboy. Handguns are not as accurate as they are portrayed to be on tv. A shorter barrel = stray bullets. Great post, nonetheless! |

Re: Texas Trooper Randy Vetter Killed After Traffic Stop
With the rate of corrupt officer's in this country.. I could never feel bad for the death of a police officer. I know, I know.. maybe this cop was actually a good guy, I don't care. I've never called the cops and never will, they don't protect me.. I protect myself and the ones I care for. I've had my own personal encounters with crooked asshole cops.. and I have to say this video made me happy (Its not like I'm trying to be happy btw). Thanks for sharing.

Re: Texas Trooper Randy Vetter Killed After Traffic Stop
First off, I like alot of people here, have lost my faith in law enforcement. I think most of them are in it for the power of the badge (one of my best friends is a cop btw). That being said it sucks when people die needlessly, but heres my take on this one. I was born and raised in the great state of Texas, and was raised to respect my elders. MAYBE just maybe this cop was raised the same way and he saw an old ass man who may or may not have been in his right frame of mind. It can't be easy to aim a gun at an old man and pull the trigger, course all the internet tough guys say it is. ANyways, yea I have no need for cops, I been robbed twice, had a gun pulled on me, and had family fucked over by them. My shits still missing, if I close my eyes I can still remember what the barrel of that handgun looked like, and my family still got fucked over, and thats cause we called the cops! lol I'd rather protect myself thank you, so take all taht and what do you got? guys who pull you over and give you tickets....yay law enforcement. BUT may this guy R.I.P.

Re: Texas Trooper Randy Vetter Killed After Traffic Stop
Yeah I agree and understand where you're coming from, but the old man is a product of his generation. The sad thing is that an officer died whilst doing his job, while the old man was (in his view) defending his rights as many old cowboys/battle hardened veterans and people of that generation do. I mean I like talking to the old folk and listening to their stories of old times, and many of them refuse to wear seatbelts because they either think it's safer not to wear them, or because when cars first came about there were no seatbelts. It's sad also because to many old folk, police should be out there catching real criminals instead of worrying about people not wearing seatbelts. I know this offers no excuse, but we should remember that the old guy not wearing his seatbelt was not the end of the world and should not have been so high on the police's agenda. |
