Looked like he had a concussion then went unconscious. Could have been because of the whiplash effect caused by his chin hitting the water first.

It looked like he may have been trying to protect his head using his right arm. Ironically, this probably had the opposite effect. The safest way to do something this stupid would be to go in as straight as possible with both arms either above the head or hands interlocked below the waist with the elbows straight. |
