Teenage Girls Found Being Struck by a Train on Railway Bridge
Indonesia. This morning 3 teenagers were hit by a train, one of whom died. The victim who died was identified as T. S. Meanwhile, two other victims, namely M. A. S. and Keyra M (18), are currently undergoing treatment at the Regional Hospital for their injuries. The latter is in critical condition. According to circulating information, 5 teenagers were known to have been present at the scene after they had previously taken a morning walk around the Sakalibel Bridge. It is believed the five then climbed onto the bridge, which overlooks the railway tracks, to take photos. However, while on the bridge, a train passed by. Three of the girls were unable to avoid it and were struck by the train, while the other two teenagers managed to escape. The bridge is a known local landmark but is strictly off-limits for pedestrians due to the high risk of train traffic. |

Trains make a lot of noise when traveling. The bridge looks like two tracks wide for trains going in either direction simultaneously. How difficult is it to move out of the way towards the empty track and give it room to pass without getting hit by it!?!?!   |

It looks like there was plenty of room to avoid the train. I'm guessing they just panicked & ran the wrong way.

Headphones, the curve had ipods in them.Or you call apple's headphones are in other brand blasting up music. It happened to a fellow student at the college, I used to go to back in 2001 he was listening music on his headphones and never heard the train coming. Tell too late, you could hear the trains breaks squeaking as a conductor deployed them, trying to stop it. But of course it was to late, they slide they don't stop on dine That's the same thing with the 18 wheeler truck.
