A teenage girl, Yisel D.D.P., was killed and her boyfriend was injured when the motorcycle they were riding lost control and crashed on a winding section of the road linking Los Patios and Pamplona.

Yisel, a recent high school graduate, was traveling as a passenger on the motorcycle with her boyfriend when the vehicle veered off the road in a curve, striking the roadside shoulder. No official determination on factors such as speed or road conditions has been released.
