Don’t think it was about being fat. Take a look at the position of his shoulders. Dude was 6’5, and could have carried a lot of height in his torso. It looks like he’s too tall for it before he’s too fat for it.

Ride operators were probably never even told there was a weight limit, just "Send the really fat people to seats one and two."

Can't believe the family is trying to sue the manufacturer. I mean, they already got a settlement from the park and the ride is completely safe HOW IT IS INITIALLY DESIGNED.

I find this just pretty fucking insane. Lets look at the safety features in the ride. An overhead harness comes down over your shoulders and locks down into position. Well logic kind to tell you the G-forces when the ride is breaking on the down shot are pretty dam strong. So why not have a Crotch Up lock into the harness as well. As we saw Fatboy slipped out under G-force to the Concrete splash zone to finishing his D-ride. Pretty fucked up design if you think about it. If the Ride had a Crotch Up Lock into the Harness added No Way Fat Bot Takes The D-Ride to the Big Beyond. I would never have gotten into that ride. Just not a safe design from the downforce perspective.
