Sadly, had there been a weight limit, someone would have gotten their entitled panties in a wad and “canceled” the park for “fat shaming”. At least his feeling weren’t hurt.  I pray for peace for everyone who is affected by this.

There was a weight restriction of 286 lbs. Tyree Sampson weighs in at 320 lbs according to his coach. The ride’s manual also states that the rider must also fit properly in the seat or they must be prohibited to ride. You can clearly see in all the photos and videos published that he most definitely did NOT fit in his seat. I’m willing to bet his feelings were hurt from his head down to his toes. But he probably didn’t feel the pain very long. |

I read that in the US, the weight restriction wasn’t enforced, like it is in other counties. If it’s true, I’m not surprised. Someone should be held accountable for the manufacturer’s regulations not being followed, regardless. Even if it’s the entitled snowflakes who are held accountable just by being called out as the hypocritical cry babies that they are.

At the start of the longer video you I think you can see his harness thing is tilted up at a greater angle than the ones on the other riders, like it wasn't pushed down enough. This was negligence. |

Many (most?) people feel for the victim and especially his family who have to live with their loss. Oh, and another thing, call in the expensive grief counselors pronto so we learn how to grieve properly! |
