They probably adjusted the seats after been sued by large people that the ride was fat shaming them

I used to go on a ride like this all the time. Thing is, they aren’t meant for chubby people. The harness comes down over the chest and locks into a metal magnetic latch and it needs to click all the way down. If you’re too big like this poor guy, it won’t click down. It’s be too tight on him. He probably knew he wasn’t fully clicked in but didn’t think the G-Force would be strong enough to fling him out. When these seats lock down properly on you, they’re tight and uncomfortable and don’t budge at all it feels like being in a plastic straight jacket. Negligence on the part of the idiot teenagers who usually work these jobs. Why theme parks hire 15 year olds to operate flying metal that goes 100mph is beyond me. Shouldn’t be allowed to touch that shit without at least a low level certificate in engineering.

Probably one reason the peeps on the ride were yelling to get the fuck off it pronto was they had seen it kill one person and didn't want to be the next victim. If you really wanted to fuck with people, you could sneak a "Real Doll" filled with fake blood onto a seat and not lower the restraining bar. Activate the ride and when the dummy hits the ground, have the carny run over to the controls and yell, "aw fuck, I can't shut it off! Stand back, it's killing people again!" while they are pinned in their seats. Maybe for a Candid Camera, Reality type show...

This would actually be an awesome gig for a Halloween themed ride. There used to be a theme park near where I lived that was open on Halloween and would have all kinds of awesome haunted houses and shows like sexy ladies swallowing fire while they juggle with it, live outdoor concerts and lots of beer. I could only imagine how frightening this would be, the riders would not expect a thing it’s scare the shit out of them.

I read that in the US, the weight restriction wasn’t enforced, like it is in other counties. If it’s true, I’m not surprised. Someone should be held accountable for the manufacturer’s regulations not being followed, regardless. Even if it’s the entitled snowflakes who are held accountable just by being called out as the hypocritical cry babies that they are.

The world is full of people with complaints of "fat-shaming" on amusement rides. People kill/hurt themselves over stupid shit all the time. This is why we have warnings "coffee is hot" "speed kills." I for one believe in letting people do themselves in. Remove all the safety restrictions and just let Darwinism do its work.

The racism on this site is absolutely HORRENDOUS. It truly is, and seems to be invested with gun-nuts and far-right extremists. I have started reporting the racist posts, and they all breach the TOS of this site, but I don't know what good it will do. I never go into the Water Cooler and have stopped reading the Current News/politics sections because racism is so endemic on this site. It really spoils the site.
