Re: Teenage Boy Killed by Drop Tower in Orlando, Florida
Zero question this is the ride/park’s liability; but this giant tub of football brain damaged shit could of had the common sense to assure his brace was secured. Unfortunately his priorities were to eat himself to oblivion as his future scholarship depended on this. Common sense tells us, “hey I should double check my seatbelt or whatever because I’m a giant fatass”. Instead he ‘expects’ to be secured by some random, underpaid carnie! This poor kids life was cut short by his expectation, again, that something would be handed to him. I bet he is critical of the triple whopper with cheese he orders 13 times daily. Why not be critical of your safety harness when it’s obvious he’s too fucking fat for it? This is a personal responsibility diet video. |

Agree with you. Rides have height limits for patrons that are too small for a particular ride because they can't be properly secured. Same should apply for too big. The person who walks around ensuring each person is "clicked in" should have notice he was simply too big for the ride. I get that could be an embarrassing moment to be asked to disembark but that's better than being splattered all over the ground.

LOL your DR name is perfect! You are beating a dead horsey, when he is down! But I object to "football brain damaged". A 14 year old probably hasn't had enough football concussions to make him the type of shit for brains former football player Phys. Ed. or health teachers we had to endure in public school. If he was mentally slow it was probably due to genetics combined with our worthless USA public school system.

I knew this would show up here. Sucks for the kid...obesity kills. And newer rides don't "click" any longer. They're hydraulic now. |

Adding after this happened to an obese woman at Six Flags Texas, major theme parks have a weight restriction now. I've seen many do the walk of shame not being able to fit safely and securely in the seats.
