I read this story earlier in the day and saw that the footage had been taken down in some locations. Far too young and this shows just how much shock and lack of mental readiness, affects us. Took them forever to react. At least it was quick. RIP, young one.

The ride doesn't have seatbelts, the attendant was just fucking with the riders and people watching.

As far as the apparent lack of immediate aid, theres nothing the two employees could've done besides contact emergency services, and we see them doing that.

They could've checked for a pulse, but for what? Whenever you have potential spinal injuries like this, it requires a coordinated effort of trained professionals to safely move the patient, and I doubt the park attendants would have any training beyond basic first aid (CPR, AED certifications), if that.

Having worked at a theme park myself in the past, we had a similar ride to this albeit a lot smaller . The ride would not initiate if all the harnesses were not locked in place. I would have thought a ride this size would've had something similar in place?
