I always wondered what pushed suicidal people over the edge. Recently, I saw a story about a guy who tried to committ suicide by jumping off the golden gate bridge in SF but he is one of only 2% that live through the fall. He said the millisecond his hand left that railing he regretted it.

Exactly. Great documentary including that guy too. I'm almost positive it's here in another thread. I think it's ignorance. They have no idea about the consequences for their actions. What amazes me about these is who picks-up the bodies. It looks like they just found some random teenage guys and said, "Hey! You wanna wear some latex gloves and help us here?"
