I am no cpr expert, but I would have tried draining the water out of the woman's lungs prior to the chest compressions.

On second viewing it appears the compression man tried a lung purge step for a few seconds off camera. Although it sounded like he might have been spanking her back. I would have inverted the body, heimliched, inflated the lungs then did chest compressions. Sound right?

Water and electrics don’t work well together. Doors can lock or refuse to unlock… electric windows won’t roll down. That’s why you take your seat belt off and roll down windows during water crossings in 4wds. Also it can be impossible to open a door against water current. Also, these two might have been knocked out and drowned in the accident.

It’s a little hard to catch it, but during the compressions the one guy says “este está muerto” meaning, I guess, that it was somewhat readily apparent he’s beyond saving…

Must have panicked and couldn't open the doors manually??? Automatic door locks don't work when submerged.. Always have a heavy hand tool preferably solid steel. Like a pair of linemans, a crescent wrench in your door jam.. In the dire event you need to break a window, someones forearm or face if need be....
