Sure the guy was worked over before they took out the ax. There another video of a Mexican who had his fingers cut off and barely flinched because he was beaten so bad. But when they started slicing through his neck, he did open his eyes and moved one last time. So being beaten up, exhausted, dehydrated, resigned to his fate, blindfolded, helped him seem composed at the end.

Goddamn. That was another one that was tough vid to get all the way through. Interesting how little he screams. Just a little yell after each hack of the limb. Must be the shock setting in that prevents him from screaming lungs out in agony the whole time.
