Taliban IED Attacks
All extracted from a recent Taliban propaganda video release. There's also a suicide bomber clip at the end. Pretty dry, unless you really like watching things explode in sandy places. |

Re: Taliban IED Attacks
Some of those vehicles were mine sweepers I think. Didn't do them any good. Look closely, they have an extended beam/arm out front which drags heavy chain to pop land mines. Then again an Anti personnel v's a shit load of whoopee won't do much. |

Re: Taliban IED Attacks
Well walrusse actually there isn't really a thing as a mine sweeper anymore that is a deterrent for when they were using heat sensitive IED's that weren't command detonated as all of these for the most part were and or pressure plated...was a soldier...islam is a religion that manufactures scum and hatred for that all muslims deserve to be put down like the dogs they are....

Re: Taliban IED Attacks
I think we must admit they have impressive aim, i remember videos from 2001 those were not that precisely. Furthermore im sure to have heard turkish speaking at 1:06. But i still prefer the IED videos exploding on the US and US Led Nato forces. Too sad that whole countries are fighting each other inside (after occupation and polarisation) instead of fighting the enemy they together have. |

Re: Taliban IED Attacks
Those "Minesweepers" you speak of are two different things. Firstly I can talk from experience being a 82nd Airborne Paratrooper for 6 years. So please do not try to discredit me. The first thing I'll make mention of is that Black Box you see stationed on a pole in front of the vehicle. This is whats called a "Rhino" its purpose is to defeat IR and heat signature munitions (All it is, is a black wooden box with a glow plug inside). Secondly you should see on the front vehicles of any ISAF vehicle is what looks like a bunch of wheels in front of the vehicle. This is just a roller to defeat most pressure plate IEDs. Most remote controlled IEDs are defeated from the DUKE (jams all signals except whats being used by ISAF within a unspecified distance or bubble. Being that most of these avenues of attack are out of the question the remaining avenues of attack are command wire (Simple 9v battery with wire) In any case, not everything is fool proof, but that is were V hulls, and simple route clearance comes into play to defeat this bullshit weapon. |
