Re: Syrian Man Laying in Street Dying and Being Shot at
That is socialism in its purest form. What they need in those sand-countries is a healthy dose of property rights, division of power and splitting of the artificial countries that just wont hold together. If the ordinary people themselves are allowed to own the land they cultivate, then they become interested in preserving the precious resources and start behaving more responsibly. And I think they should have something like 50000 countries there, or whatever the number of tribes there are. Let them herd their sheep and drill their oil in smaller communities, then there could be a fair chance for peace. |

Re: Syrian Man Laying in Street Dying and Being Shot at
The sniper was trying to lure the rest of them, have none of you seen Full Metal Jacket? when the man raised his head to spot the sniper, the sniper then killed him before he could finger out the direction of fire/position. Sucks to have been the guys buddies watching their friend go out like that. What takes me the most is that the soldier had the balls to raise his head up like that, giving his life to try to save the lives of his brothers in arms, very noble.
