Syrian Man, On His Motorcycle, Shot Dead Outside Store
Ghab Plain, Syria Three men, identified as Issam Y.M., Abd a-H.S.M., and Basem M.a-Z., were killed and three others were wounded when armed men opened fire in a village in the Ghab Plain. The village is predominantly populated by those belonging to the Murshidi religious community, a split-off from the Alawite sect that, among other teachings, emphasizes gender equality and gives women autonomy in choosing jobs and their partner. |
