Its true that; what the hell do they teach kids in school these days? obviously not geography, for sure.

Its true that; what the hell do they teach kids in school these days? obviously not geography, for sure.
Actually, we do get schooled on geography.. I had it my sophomore year in HS... The exams consisted of a blank map.. All countries, rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans had to be filled in for competency...

Maybe the curriculum for some schools don't have geography in there..

There are lots of us military folk that have spent significant time in the middle east regions.. If you are a ground pounder, then you need to know your land navigation and intel of the region.. Just sayin'....
