If you’re going to cuff a suspect, you don’t approach them and take a knee next to them, especially if they’re armed, and absolutely not without help. They knew that, which is why he was tazed. Once he went down, shoulda had one deputy on each arm getting him proned out, cuffed, and then in a bus for medical attention because like someone mentioned above, he coulda had a head injury. Once they made the decision to taze him, the very next objective should have been getting him subdued and cuffed. Either way it was a clean shooting. Preventable, but clean. It’s easy to armchair QB these things after the fact though |
