He wasn't "pointing his weapon" he didn't even see the SWAT around the corner.
He actually did pointed the shotgun and with a quick movement i might add ,anyway if you are threatening to kill someone in front of dozen cops and then walking towards them with a weapon there is not much to defend about this guy.
