Suspect of raping 6-year-old child is beaten to death in Nova Esperança.
On the morning of this Sunday (07/28), a man, identified only as Romualdo, is suspected of raping a 6-year-old child on Rua Paraíso, located in the Nova Esperança 2 neighborhood, in the west zone of Manaus. He was brutally beaten and had his face disfigured by the neighbors.

According to preliminary information, the man had gone to the victim's residence to visit his son, who lived there. During the visit, he had seen the 6-year-old child and allegedly tried to sexually abuse her.

The victim's sister reported that the suspect denied the act while she held him by the arm inside the residence. He tried to escape by jumping over the wall of the house, but was caught by the neighbors.
